Offering vital service connections where they are needed, the Surgical Table Pod is mounted directly under the surgical operating table. It supplies connections for electrical power and ground, medical vacuum and CO2, ethernet and HDMI ports, and power/data connectors for a patient warming pad system.

GKdesign developed all industrial design attributes of the Table Pod, from initial conceptual studies and surgical table integration, through to the floor mounting system and service-connection graphic panels. Working with a leading engineering and fabrication company in Switzerland, GKdesign supervised production development and integration of interior components through to final prototype delivery.
